Salt tolerant cereals

Salt tolerant cereals and water-logging tolerant cereals could provide greater options for farmers dealing with saline soils, increasing farm profitability and improving environmental and natural resource management outcomes. 

The Salt Tolerant Cereal project aims to develop a feed quality cereal for salt-affected land. It will also provide new knowledge on the salt and water-logging tolerances of these salt tolerant plants under field and laboratory conditions.
