About Future Farm Online

Future Farm Online is the website for the Future Farm Industries CRC. It has been created as an information resource for the use of perennial plants in the dryland farming systems of southern Australia.

Future Farm Industries CRC believes perennial plants have a greater role to play in the drying and variable climate of Australia due to their ability to capture and effectively use water at depth in a variety of rainfall environments and maintain growth throughout the year.

Future Farm Online has been designed with the visitor in mind so they can quickly find the information about:

• What role perennial plants can play on the farm
• How perennials can be used to address specific land management issues 
• What perennials are best suited to certain locations and climates.

This website will assist visitors in making informed decisions about the usefulness of perennials to boost productivity and sustainability in a drying climate while improving the environment.
